Ignition lock cylinder replacement

OK, thanks. I've been thinking about getting a set for a while, so this is a good excuse to do it IF removing those fasteners will help me.
I got the broken key fragment out of the lock, but I must have shattered some of the tumblers in the process (there are empty slots where it looks like they should be). Is there any way to remove the ignition lock cylinder without being able to turn it to the run position?
