Ive recently broke a motor mount (97 cherokee) and had to replace the whole distributor, and doing so replaced wires and plugs. jeep ran fine then started to idle rough and sputter while wanting to jump foward. its fine when goin at higher speeds or gas it but i also hear clank when accelatering like sumtin is lose, rolling around in the engine compartment. i have no clue where to begin to start diagnosing the probleml. I need some expertise. please help

 

im having the same problem with my 97 ran fine and now it sputters and idles like crap if im on the free way im ok most of the time low speeds its been happening the past 2 days non stop and ya when im stopped it keeps trying to lunge forward. i have a bad o2 senor and cat but i dont think that would make it sputter so hard it wouldnt accelerate...
