idling fast & glowing exchaust manifold

correction: a rich condition will run cooler, spastic idle, heavy exhaust, and foul plugs. a lean condition will cause high idle, burn clean, and verry hot exhaust, like a oxy-acetlyene torch. add air, it gets hotter. harleys are notorius for it. that's when you see the chrome pipes turn blue. either way, it's and air/fuel mixture problem.

yes that's true but his symptoms show unburnt fuel is exiting into the exhaust manifold and then igniting. Too much fuel to burn = running rich also.

Lol I'm sure its something simple . Prob where I had the breather out and prob pulled a line off , I hope , she's not running rough just idling real fast

Well I took vaccum line off map sensor and she idle down , but was loading up. Does that mean the sensor is bad . Don't mean to sound stupid ,but I'm new to this

I put new map sensor in and still idling fast ,gas smell in oil gone any other suggestions

Thanks for the I think I finally found the prob. Tps is bad I unplug it and runs fine . Will it hurt to run until I get a new one trying find one in junkyard a new one is 150
