Ohm all injectors to make sure their real close within .2 of each other winston427 just had the same codes and replaced #2 coil pack and all plugs seem to have fixed it.

not sure, does the 96 have coil packs or a distributor... if it has coils can you swap two of them and see if the misfire moves or if it's a distributor can you swap 2 spark plug wires and see if the misfire moves... If nothing changes I would even go as far as swapping 2 injectors to see if it moves... Also... don't overlook the spark plugs... good luck with it...

I have a distributor. No coil packs.

Is it due a tune up then? Its become intermittent. Sometimes it will just smooth right out, then get rough again. And when I get on the main drag and get up to like 40 the check engine light starts blinking. Whats the blinking mean???

oh and thanks you guys for replying so quick. It needs a tuneup anyway but I'm afraid one of the injectors is ***** up. Whats a good way to replace the injectors. Like ones off a 5.0 or something? Maybe I'm gettin ahead of myself but everyone here is always so helpful.

Thanks again you guys.

Cool

when the check engine light starts blinking it means you are going to cause damage to the cat convertor.
