Idle Drop when coming to a stop??

Idle Drop when coming to a stop??

98 4.0 auto...when coming to a stop the idle will drop down to around 4-500 then spring back to around 750....any idea what thats about??

Mine does the same thing. I have narrowed it down to the tranny shifting late. It almost looks and feels like the tranny dont wanna down shift to that last gear

Doubt it's the tranny.. I guess the TCU could be bad.. Maybe a vacuum issue.

Look at the MAP sensor or the TPS.... I'm thinking MAP is the cause.
