I need help
I have a 1998 jeep cherokee 4.0 and it was sputtering while driving. Freind of mine said it was the fuel pump so i changed it and still the same problem. Took it to advance auto and they hooked it up and said that it was reading both O2 sensors and two different transmission problems, transmission malfunction of some sort. Changed a blown 15 amp fuse and the jeep starting idling high. The sputtering seemed to go away for a few minutes and then came back. Also when I shift into drive it make a clanking noise like metal hitting. Any ideas what it could be?

I can't remember the codes exactly. I know the O2 sensors started with PO. I have them written down at my house. I will have to post them later when I get home. Any guesses as to what it could be?

0135 is front O2 heater malfunction.
0141 is rear O2 heater malfunction.
0705 is range sensor malfunction (neutral safety switch)
0700 is general transmission control malfunction.
The O2 heater codes are often blown fuses or damaged wiring.
The two transmission codes are likely the result of a dirty or misadjusted NSS.
Bad O2's can cause driveability issues like you describe.
The clunk is possibly a worn-out u-joint, bad trans or engine mount or exhaust hitting the frame or crossmember.
