Yeah i think i do. How hard do you guys think that bushing is going to be to replace? Can i just get one of those torches from SEARS to help get the bushing out or do i need a fancy one?

which bushing? the trackbar bushing is poly, that's easy to get out since it's probably two piece. a screwdriver will take that out. The control arm rubber bushings need to be pressed out. You can use a c-press or ball joint press with some big sockets or cut pieces of pipe.

Hmm sounds pretty doable, this is all going to be such a hassle but i cant wait. I found a d30, 456 gears, lock right and a 8.25 29 spline, 456 gears and detroit all for $500.

Yeah thanks it is a sweet deal, i have the exact same axles now but its more cost effective to just swap in these than gear and lock my curretn ones since that will be about $2,000. My front axle is crap but my rear is actually really good, its been essentially rebuilt, all new brakes, axle seals, wheel cylinders, wheel bearings, all that stuff which is why i really don't wanna sell it but i guess ill just have an extra.

I'm worried about how these axles will stand up though because they have seen off road use. I know these axles will handle my sort of wheeling (I don't crawl usually), but I'm worried about the little things that cause things like death wobble and bad tire wear. Things like TREs, ball joints, wheel bearings, seals things like that have to be perfect. That is my only concern....

Don't be thinking there's a guarantee wobble. I lifted my xj and didn't get any wobble and some of my steering components were worn and one bushing was torn to shi$. Make sure those tires are perfectly balanced. Lift/modify with confidence my friend

you mean the pinion seal or the dana 30 inner axle seals? Are they leaking? Seems like you are doing a complete vehicle overhaul.

my rear end is fine my front sucks, but when swapping them in im just wondering about how much it may cost. I think my friend got all his seals done for $250 and i think the pinion was one of them cuz i remember him saying it had gotten hollowed out. he was running a locked hp30 on 37s soooo... haha

If you have a bad pinion angle or bad pinion bearing or do alot of muddin, your seal may leak but other than that, it should be fine.

Default Update

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!
Alright so i just spent about $1100 online today, heres what i got....
-6.5" Rustys springs, plus a 1.5" spacer to make up for the sag from my front bumper - this should net me between 6.5-7.5" of lift, ideally about 7"
-Rubicon Express adjustable lower control arms... since everyone said to get these instead of caster thingies i agreed, so i bought them for a painful $270....
-JCR 1 Ton steering.... hell yeah
-Rough country drop brackets
-2" blocks for the backs (keep your opinions to yourself on that one, this is temporary)
-Spicer ball joints

PLLLLLLLLEASe dont tell me i need a new front track bar.... ?
