Well about two weeks ago I order an O2 sensor. It has about 150k on the orginal and even though I am not getting a code I thought I would go ahead and replace it anyway. Well I get in the mail and go right outside to replace it. Pop the hood and realize I have the wrong part. I get pissed and throw it on the shelf to either return or sell. Today I am scanning the post in the tech section and see one about a bad air temp sensor. Well not being sure, I google IAT to see where and what it is. Come to find out I was mistaking the IAT for O2 sensor. I felt like an idiot and I was relieved all at the same time. So, now that I know where my O2 sensor is, what is the best way to get to it. Should I go under the jeep and reach for it or is there a way to get to it from the top?

 

I thought '00-'01 had two O2s by the engine and one after the cat.

 

They do, but I was looking at replacing the one on the engine before the cat. Actually it on the manifold it think. I can reach it but I cant see it.
