what is this part? i've never seen it in any pictures and didn't have it on my jeep. its the part thats sitting below the brake fluid tank. looks like it has two gold shotgun shells sticking out of it. what is it and what does it do.

really my old jeep has abs brakes i believe as well wonder if the part was more hidden on it. i know my old one did as once in a while the abs light would come on.

thanks for the reply it was kinda just annoying know knowing exactly what it was, its going to make the shock there even harder to replace than on my other jeep i had.

 

There are no dumb questions. You can look "not so bright" though, if you ignore capitals and punctuation. It hurts my head a little just trying to see what you might be trying to say! "really my old jeep has abs brakes i believe as well wonder if the part was more hidden on it"...Maybe your old Jeep had the pump down on the right.
