Attachment 19556I have Cooper Discoverer S/T. I love them. There a 80k m/s tire, with an aggressive thread pattern. And minimal road noise. Heres their site; http://www.coopertire.com/html/produ...=discoverer_st Check them out. I would buy them again.

and those general grabbers look almost identical to the bfg ats
WOW $130 a tire for the goodyears? thats a good deal but i had looked into them before and read some reviews that said they are a "walmart only tire" and look alot like the goodyear duratrac? not the same tire but really close
ok guys, has anyone ran the duratracs? these tires seem to be very nice and i found a set for only $139 a tire. The price and the fact that these are the most aggressive AT ive ever seen really make me want it

the dura tracks i personally like the way they look, My buddy runs the 33's on his H3(and he actually wheels it) and they are a good tire, nice and quiet yet provide alot of traction, good sipping for wet pavement too.
And yes the Generals are near replicas of the BFG's. Thats why i got them-cheaper for the same tire lol.

The BFG AT are great, I have 'em on both of my XJs. they're quiet-ish tires on teh freeway, are great in slippery/snowy conditions (which is a big plus in the Pac NW) and tackle everything I could possibly want to do offroading, short of stump jumping which I'm not really into anyways.
The last pair on my old XJ has lasted 6? years now of daily driving w/ regular rotations, and I have at least one or two left on the tread before I'd be worried about them going bald.
Worth the extra money, but if those lookalikes are similar in construction, might make a decent low-priced solution. general grabbers sell for a lot less from what I've seen.

i think i may go with the duratracs, they are the best looking A/T ive seen so far and have very high ratings in all categories on and off road, they actually look more like a mild M/T than an A/T. that and theyre only $139 a tire, but before i go get them i would still like to get some feedback from somebody running them right now, and maybe see how long they would last me

**** insurance hahaha...i dont have insurance and my inspection and registration expired 3 years ago....but no i think about it maybe u had the right idea cuz i have 9 tickets and 4 warrants right now because of that **** hahaha
I got on this a little late. But the Duratracks are dope tires. And a locker isn't a bad idea on your 2x4 either. An Aussie or Detroit locker would be great. I've seen some dudes wheel with only 2WD. Hell. Throw a bumper and winch on that thing and your good to go!

not judging you and no disrespect at all, but that is not something to be proud of. and a part of this forum's requirements is to not be talking about illegal activities. just a heads up.

Well since you didnt buy the jeep and you dont pay insurance I am assuming your parents bought it. I bought my jeep and pay the insurance but cant really talk since my parents pay for my gas and textbooks. Anyway, I think my parents are way different than most. I dont think they would have let me buy a vehicle unless it was a cherokee with 4x4. Mom bought the OLD cherokee and Dad currently drives it and they have never had a problem with it. So I bought one. Yes I know that is off topic.
