Exclamation i cut into my body a lil bit

well i was trimmin up my rear fenders and i cut into the body a little bit,not horribly but it big enough to get water and maybe a lil but if mud,should i worry about this? if so how do i fix this? body filler??

spray foam holds water and causes rust.

caulk of any sort, uv resistant exterior grade would be best. this will work if the cut/hole is small enough.

frankly, the best way is to just weld it.

I just fixed my rusted floor boards and used tiger seam sealer around the riveted patches and it worked great. I wouldn't use normal household caulking.

i would weld it but i dont have access to a welder
but i can try the caulk tomorrow

An automotive sealer. Don't use normal household caulking.

My before and after pics. Used metal from old xj doors and formed it to fit then riveted it and used tiger seam sealer. Worked great, very strong and flexible stuff.

I got it at Napa for around 15 bucks. It's pretty thick and can be wet sanded. Only takes half hour to dry.
