I can't get my temperature sensor out. Help!
So I took my cooling system apart last night and flushed it out. Picked up a new t-stat and temp sensor to replace the old ones when putting it all back together.
Now I can't get the old temp sensor out. It feels like it is glued in there. I tried some pb blaster on it before bolting everything back together. That did not work. The temp sensor is made of brass where you put the wrench on it. That metal is so soft I finally quit messing with it before it got to a point of no return.
I rinsed the sensor off inside the manifold looking thing (where the radiator hose and heater hose attach) to get any remaining pb blaster off before putting it all back together.
I don't know if the pb blaster messed up the sensor but now my check engine light is on after messing with the temp sensor. So now it definitely needs replace. I was just going to say forget it but now...
So how do I get this old temp sensor out???

X2, When you put the new sensor in put some anti seize on the threads so this may not happen the next time. This happened to me this past weekend when changing out my radiator and trying to remove the fan sensor from the old radiator, I had fits removing the sensor. I had to destroy the old radiator
