I tried many times to diagnostic trouble code on my xj 2000 classic
Anyone tell me how can i do tht

 

If you describe the code readers that did not work, that might help.

 

I dont mean tht
I mean how can i check for trouble codes someone told me turn the ignation on and off 3 times u will see the trouble code on ur odemeters screen ....
I tried that but nothing happen

 

Not knowing personally, I can say I've seen posted (plenty), that OBD, (On Board Diagnostic), is just smoke somebody blew. UYA. Anyway might be sometime in 97, they stopped letting us see it, and made it so you need to get a reader, or go somewhere. Of course the data is there.

That came off wrong, of course if you get any code, it matters.

 

Got a AutoZone in your area? They check for free I think.

 

Maybe thts true and its working for 99 models idk ist working for 2000 or not ..... Its working for grand cherokee too

Sadoon, if you actually ARE in some "rare" place, you should be able to find a reader for your deal. What's it doing?
