I am re-building my AC system, 2000 Cherokee right hand drive
OK folks I have stumbled across a problem, I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee, 4.0 L, right hand drive. I have managed to get the compressor, and I think I’ve managed to find an adequate condenser, but for the life of me I cannot find the receiver/drier, accumulator.
Anybody else run into this issue? And if so how did you resolve it? I have been looking all over the world for one. You would think someone would manufacture an aftermarket product to work. Any help would be wonderful.
Is it right-hand drive because of your country, or was it something like a U.S. postal vehicle? There are places that can rebuild your old accumulator/filter/drier. Here's one in the U.S.:

I'm sorry to dig up an old post, but my question is relevant! You mentioned that you found a replacement condenser for this - where did you find it? I'm searching for one for my '98 RHD XJ, and I can't find one anywhere.

Looks like your oem part number is 55037 434AA for the RH drive. If you cant find one, you may have to send it to a custom A/C shop. Good Luck!
RHD XJ receiver/driers are hard to find try looking for a universal fit unit or modifying a LHD one with custom lines. Some guys retrofit ones from other RHD vehicles like Land Rovers. Worst case, a custom AC shop can build one.
