Default I already searched, mydoorlock fuse keeps blowing?

My driver side doorlock switch keeps blowing fuses but only when I unlock them. It works fine to lock. Pass side works great all the time . What can this be? I went through 4 fuses yesterday alone.HELP.

First check the wiring inside the boot from the D door to the body for scraped/broken wires. If that fails start tracing the wire from the D door lock switch till you find the short.

Can I replace just the lock switch or do I have to replace the whole panel?

Not sure on your model, on my 91 I just replaced 1 switch. You will have to look.
