Default hypertech problems, need help.

i just got the hypertech max energy 52000, updated the programmer for jeep 4.0 hooked it up to truck and it asked me if i want a tuner installed i chose a tuner for regular fuel.
then it asked me if i want a top speed changed, so i said yes and set it for 116mph. it said to change the rev limiter i said -500rpm.
after installing it, my check engine light came on for P0700, which i searched on google and it said TCM (Transmission Control Module).
I returned the vehicle back to stock, but the check engine light is staying on.
the vehicle drives fine. if i cut the key of and turn it back on 3 times and then start it, the check engine light goes off, but as soon as i touch the shifter it comes back on.

and one another major problem i ran into is that the tuner doesn't even give me an option for speedo calibration. i mean that was one of the main reasons i bought it. to calibrate for my 31's. the manual says a whole bunch of things on how the tire calibration screen will come up, but on mine it doesn't.
what do i do? as i said the truck runs fine

Not many jeepers get programmers and chips and such. Just not enough bang for the buck. Sorry can't help much.

I agree. I dont know of anyone that uses one. And going by there website i dont see anything on there about calibrating the speedo. It just says it adjusts the rev limiter and top speed limiter.

You can try using it to clear the code for the check engine light. It might come back on though. Like i said i dont have any experience with them. Sorry

XJ spedo are calibrated by changing the speedo gear. I don't think they can be adjusted eletronically.
