I found another interesting concept, Injecting hydrogen into the air intake to increase combustion and increase MPG and reduce emmisions

heres the links i found i want to know what everyone thinks about a kit like this.

Its called an HHO generator and they do work, from what I hear. Theres a guy who set one up on his XJ, I can't remember his username, but do a search for HHO generator and you'll probably find his posts.

There selling a whole unit for 39$. Now Im sure I can install the unit to the hardware, but wouldn't you have to change your A/F ratios, ECU, timing etc to adapt to the changes? or would just resetting the ECU do the trick

ok. last year i was very, VERY interested in hho technology. wanted to put a wet cell on my ZJ. you dont have to reset ur timing and all that and dont even buy that one for $39. its prbly poorly built, and u dont want cuz it could blow up ur xj. what u need is a PWM (Pulse Width Module), a EFIE/ MAP Sensor Enhancer, gauges, wiring and hoses and a flash-back arrestor. The PWM controls the amount of Amps that are going from the battery to the cell. the EFIE/ MAPSE is defently something u need because what it does is fake out the MAP and O2 sensors. if you run this with out it your O2 sensor will read that ur O2 level are too lean and the MAP sensor will tell the computer to dump more gas in the engine giving you worse gas milage. a volt and Amp meter just to show how many Amps and Volts are going to the cell and a flash back arrestor so that if there is an explosion in the engine, it wont travel back up the line to the cell to make a bigger boom.
