Hvac speed control only works on 4.
Tis the season to use our heat and I'm having an interesting issue with my 1 2 3 4 fan speed selector switch. I do not believe it is the resistor because it blows nice warm air in all of the speed settings, but sometimes when it is in 3 or 4 the fan just cuts out while driving and I have to jiggle the **** or go to another speed and then come back to the one that cut out before it stars blowing air again. Most of the time I can jiggle the **** and she starts blowing air again, but sometimes it takes a minute, sometimes it comes back on by its own without jiggling the ****, weird.
Is this a worn out connection inside the **** switch? Can I take it apart and clean the contacts or resolder the circuit board like I did to repair my window switches? or is it worth just to get a new/used control panel on ebay for $40 bucks or worth the time to take this one apart?
Anyone else have this issue?
