-Quick question, & i hope im in the right section, BUT where do u guys collect ur scrap steel from?? Im talkin about crap thrown on the sides of barns to ordering 12" tube sticks. I wana do this as cost efficient so all help is welcome, including websites just incase i need somethin special!!!

check junkyards you never know what you will find

 

I have found crews demolishing buildings will let you take a couple pieces. But some also state its a safety hazard and won't let you near.

I always ask. Sometimes its yes and sometimes its no.

i always go to my local steel supply shop they let me dig through there scrap bin whenever i need pieces for welding practice
