Hello, I have a 2001 cherokee sport not lifted with the chrysler 8.25 axle. I have a humming noise coming from the rear as well as a clunk when letting off the gas at 15-60 mph I can recreate the clunk noise by just tapping the gas pedal while at speed. The humming is only really a loud noise when going around a corner throwing the weight to one side or hitting a divot in a road or a bump. Driveshaft is new as well as U joints, wheel bearings are new, and I just replaced my factory leaf springs with a standard pair (no lift) and I have no rear sway bar. Sound got worst after leaf springs, also the angle of the pinion is good. I am starting to think it is either the pinion bearing or a problem with the slip yoke.
Trans mount is also new
any help or thoughts would be appreciated thank you.
