whats the hub nut size on a 95 cherokee, i have to change the ujoint on the pass side and im not sure what size/type it is. It looks almost like a 1-5/8 12 points but some confirmation before i got buy one would be nice.

 

they make a special nut for it....

Local auto parts store will have it for rent most of the time


but i think it is like a 30 mm socket....It is metric

 

i checked crappy tire and they guy said they didnt, but yeah i found that it had a clips and looks like its around 1-1/2 six point socket

 

just confirmed its a 36 mm

btw google has tons of write ups on it.... i just typed in jeep cherokee hub replacement and got about 4 different write ups verifying its a 36mm
