hub nut??

does anyone know what size the hub nut is on the front axle...all i had around that size was a 36 and it was too big?

hmmm.....well the one i had lying around was also a 6 point..would this make a difference?

It should be 36mm.. Mine is a 6 pt socket 36mm and works just fine.

If yours is rusted like the one on my YJ the 36MM will be too big, the original size was 36MM...now who knows. Good luck!

yeah could get one slightly smaller and hammer it on and remove it then replace it with a new one which you should anyways.
