Default hpd30 gear help

Hey guys,
I got a high Pinion Dana 30 with the vacuum disco

Question is with the gears, I got them with the understanding that it had 4.10s

but I just ripped into it and it has 41 teeth on the ring, and 11 teeth on the pinion.

my understanding of gears is that its (ring teeth)/(Pinion teeth) and thats your gearing.

so this one would be 3.73???

and if it really is 3.73, what jeeps had 3.73s stock in the early 90s (please include model, motor, and trans type)

thats a good thread, im just going to call them 3.73s, unless your driving on dry pavement for quite a distance, that .003 isnt going to make a difference, specially because most of the time your in 2wd, unless your in mud, and then it wont matter one bit
