i dont have sound on my driver door, i am installing a new stereo in the next week or 2, and figured i might as well replace the component speakers while im in there, but i read that the cause of my speaker not working is a factory issue with the wires becoming split?

if so, what is best route to run new wire? thru dash, or under carpet? if anyone has any pics, it would be appreciated...
