Default How to remove AC condenser...

Im doing a cooling swap/upgrade and I dont use my AC tomorrow. ( so hopefully I can get an answer by tomorrow morning) I was wondering what all entails on removing the AC? More specific the condenser. That damn thing hogs all the incoming air, and me not using it is a plus. So why not remove it? Is it under pressure? I dont even think there is anything left in it anyway. So, can I basically just remove the lines going to it and then worry about the rest later? Im still unsure whether Im going to do the AC OBA, alt. relocation or just delete the pulley.

Most likely still has refrigerant, it will have to be recovered since its it is illegal to release it into the air. You could pick up a set of harbor freight gauges for about $30 on sale
Edit: you could also see if a shop will check for free or a six pack

Okay, well with that being said. I'll hit up HF, why not... So after its removed, then what? Just disconnect from the condenser and then I can leave the rest for later right?

Pretty much, it will most likely drip oil
The hf gauges come with the quick connectors for auto applications
Edit: it would be easiest to make friends with somebody in the trade, they would do it some beer

Once the refrigerant has been collected/de-pressurized, there are 4 "quick connects" (2 at firewall & 2 at passenger side of condenser) that separate when the clips are removed. U need the quick connect removal tool - get them at any auto parts store. 1 bolt that holds the hose manifold to the compressor needs to be removed. 4 bolts hold the compressor. My guess is the condenser comes out the front so the grill needs to be removed. Probably another clip, bracket, elec connector or 2 needs to be removed but that's basically it.
