how much would u pay for this 99 cherokee?

I paid 1,300 for my 98 Classic with 143K on it. Needed new freeze plugs and a header.
if the pinion seal is leaking than the pinion bearing is probally shot...very common on the cryco 8.25 with these issues i would say around 1,500.....Cash talks.

Cracked windshield=no problem. FWIW, it is VERY difficult to get a decent weld on the header. I've actually NEVER seen it work for a long period. If you are looking at that as a temporary fix, then it should work, but you should just replace it, you'll prolly have to remove it to get a weld in there anyway. HTH!!

I don't think there's any reason to dink with the stock header. You can get bolt-on ones on ebay for about 200 bucks that shouldn't crack in the future. And while you're at it, you can ceramic coat them, so they'll stay cooler and keep your intake manifold from cooking, resulting in more power.

yea, that sounds like a good plan. the only reason i mentioned welding is because my buddy has done it on a few of them and would do it for free for me. good temporary fix i guess
