Ok so apparently my school frowns upon me trying to do pinion seals in the parking lot, go figure. So I'll need to have a shop do it yay horray for the the rip off. Heres the catch, while looking at th pinion seal I noticed my front diff yoke has alot of lateral play in, so im lead to believe that the bad bearing cause my seal to go. So before I'm even going to ask how much itll cost, I know that every shop is different and there could be a huge range for all of this. I've asked around and some guy quoted me 800$ which is crap, its 40$ worth of parts. I mean dont get me wrong Id love to do all this myself, i just dont have a place to do it. Any body in the Williamsport PA area that could help or give me some leads on good garages?

a pinion seal is about a hours job so $100 or less in labor.... a seal will run about $15-20.

if its bad bearings then its going to get into some $ and would be cheaper to find a good used diff.

Yeah but even if I got a new diff, I have no where to do an axle swap and I'd imagine that would cost a ton too at a shop
