Okay so ive seen a bunch of threads on poor gas mileage on the XJs. obviously thats a given and im sure not the reason anybody bought one up here. But im curios about another thing. Even though gas has gone down a bit, its still too expensive for my liking.

So i though this would be a good idea for a thread. Lets see how it ranges depending on where you live. Im pritty sure all the XJ since the late 80's have had the same size gas tank.

So tell us how much it takes to fill your XJ and where you live.


I'll start.

$43 in Clayton NC

 

$45 for me in Tulsa, OK.

 

$43 Premium in Wantage, NJ

 

$45 Minnesota

 

75$ Montreal, Quebec, Canada

 

Holy Crap. I expected some fluctuation but WOW! I know where im not moving to/ lol

 

fluctuates between 1.00$ and 1.20$ per liter

 

about 50 bucks fresno, ca.

 

about 50-60 here in Las cruces, nm

 

How far is that from Albuquergue, Ive got some family that lives out there. Its crazy hot everytime i go!

Gas is about the same here.... but I get 20 mpg so I get about 9 days out of a tank (40 mile round trip to work).
