How much for a budget lift?
I want to put a 2 inch lift on my xj, but before I do I'd like to know how much I should have saved up first. I don't have the proper tools, place, or know how to do it myself so I'd need to have it done by a professional.
Just a little bit of a boost and 30" tires should look good.

If it was me I would get new leaf packs and coil spacers and do it right. More then likely you leaf packs are worn out. Then get some new shocks and call it a day. Expect to pay a few hundred bucks for labor costs. Any mechanic should be able to replace the leaf packs and add the spacers and replace the shocks. So ask around for a good reputable mechanic. An offroad shop will charge way to much and it's not worth the labor for such a job.

I think it's funny that there is a link every so often bellow your picture for a bb kit. Just an observation.. Click on the 4 wheel custom link bellow your pic if you see it. There are a few choices for a XJ b.b kit. I actually got mine from them but yet to install it. Be the one with the SJ Hydro Shocks. But like okcjeeper said going with new leaf packs might be the best route. So in that case you be buying the spacers and shocks seperatley rather then in one kit.
