Ha Ha, youv'e barly passed the warranty break in period,The Peep is at 469000km+ (290000+miles) and daily driver, really driven, 1400 km every week. Oil and filter every 6000 km, ever since the 100000km mark, Yes new gaskets, main seals, pan, oil filter o-rings, the works, still leaks. Almost all accessories worn out and replaced at least once, air conditioning compressor still works, air con is pooched, under conversion to the on board air system. Back to the miles; Original engine, head never removed, sure power is down, still starts and idles, purrs like a kitten, has some cracks in the current exhaust manifold, fresh one is on the bench, cat is out, injectors are original. Did I mention the 469000km, the Peep's been around the block more than once and going again, even did 4 years hard labour in a stone quarry prior to my rescue. Gotta love that 4.0!

My Ruby XJ has about 270,000 miles on her, original motor. Runs strong, very smooth. Leaks a little bit of oil, but what 20+ year old car doesn't?

About to hit 368,000 miles on original 1992 I6. Burns and/or leaks a quart of oil every 500+/- miles. Runs strong.

My first 87 Cherokee had 360k+ miles on it and it still ran strong. But my ex-wife wrecked it.

My current 87 Cherokee only has 165k. I doubt it will ever reach that 360k with me. I don't doubt it will still be on the road until then though, unless another accident occurs.
