I have a 1997 4.0 Laredo and I am trying to run 6 55 watt 12v lights. I am concerned about the alternator being able to carry the load. I attached a pic of my wiring diagram. I do not run any other accessories or high powered items so this would be it. I also don’t plan on running these when the car is off.

Your lights will pull 43 amps.
I would run two relays for them, 2 lights per relay.
Your alternator may handle it, I would hook them up and see. If it starts pulling it down, Post on here and Im sure someone can tell you a good junkyard alternator with a higher rating to get.
I don't want to be a downer, but this thread is ten years old. LEDs are a thing now and HIDS have come and gone in between. Is there a particular reason you want to go with Halogen?
If efficiency were a concern, he wouldn't be installing 330-watts of Halogen lights that will draw 30-amps. :}
I think the 10-gauge, fuse, and relay are too small and you'll pop that fuse when the lights turn on. Personally, I would just install an LED light bar and be done with it. LED will draw roughly 1/10 of the amperage as the halogens for the same amount of light (about 6000 lumens total for those 6 halogens). https://www.superbrightleds.com/cat/off-road-lights/
