I only air down on really tough terrain. I like the ride of the softer tires on rocky terrain. I don't have any GOOD pics yet, I will this summer though!

Damn You Guys Run Low Tire Pressure On the Road. I Have 31-10.50's im runnin like 35-36 is that to much? There BFG Alt.

I'll have to check that out sometime. Sounds like a good buy, and requires no mods to the vehicle as far as running power and air hoses. Mine was a KostCo brand one for $20, got it from a buddy.

Yup, agreed. The one time I aired down was great, so mych better. No matter what brand tire you have, how good of a suspension set up. . . aired down tires feel great (better) on rocks than street PSI.

I had one of those (infact still have it) but it got so hot I thought it would catch on fire. I have since gone to an ARB compressor and it is a little cooler. I wanted OBA but didn't want to convert my A/C so I decided that a good 12v compressor would have to do for now.

Yea it gets hot but you'll only touch it once,then you learn and learning is half the battle. I have a small Black & Decker 110v and it gets fairly warm also.

i was running 9 psi at rausch with 33" procomp MT and 8" wheels. another guy i was with ran about 6 in his tsl's 33's with 8" wheels

we ran alot of the blues and blacks and a few guys hit some reds. yellow jacket, cv trail, trails 2, 5, 8, tombstone, rock creek, lake christy. hit most of the stuff since we were there for 3 days. i wont be out there again for a month or 2 though
