my crystal ball isn't working right now... my magic 8 ball says "yes" whatever that means.

 

I'm gonna rock the heavy oil for another couple hundred miles til I get it changed, but I appreciate all the advise. I'll try out the 10w30 I think

I actually tested the oil pressure on 4 different mechanical gauges and they all read 7-8psi at idle so I know now it isn't the sending unit.

 

good you verified the pressure, now a couple questions was that with 10w-30 or 20w-50???

 

Idk what kind of oil was in it when I bought it but It tested the same with the new and old oil. The current oil I'm running is 20w-50.

I haven't had a chance to put 10w-30 in yet but I will be doing the same tests when I do.
