i have a 1999 xj,and really want...need a lift on it. The kit costs enough alone...and i'd like to think i maybee able to do it with a friend...or 2..any suggestions,or tricks that will help me? PLZ>>> THANKS!!!!

 

I installed the rough country 3" by myself and never really worked on cars before, just do some reading here on the forums, follow the instructions and if you have any questions come ask here. It wasn't that hard (thinking wise and figuring how/where everything goes) but it is time consuming. Took me about 8 hrs to do, you might be able to do it faster if you have the right tools and you already know a thing or two about working on cars.
But i say go for it.

 

I just installed a 4.5 RC long arm kit and I have never done any wrench turning. It took me a couple of days, some busted up knuckles and a punching bag but it wasn't hard at all just slow and time consuming. Rough Country is the way to go...good price
