Default How good is your air filter? Real Test Results

I see this as an interesting study, a real test of numerous air filters. The data is specially important for us off roaders.

Note Kand N came out last in most of the test criteria, although it does flow a tiny tiny bit more air, not enough to be significant to even be noticed power wise. Remember an inch of water is a tiny tiny fraction of an atmosphere. It does pass significantly more dirt than the paper filters

Ill let the test data speak for itself now...

Enjoy....

I use a stock XJ filter, not any external supposed high airflow item, and K&N are known to pass more particulate matter

Does this mean I should search out a AC-Delco for my XJ ?

Hard to tell where they are made and by whom, unless I see an ac-delco name on the box

As I have mentioned before (and others may disagree), an XJ does not need higher airflow, it is not restricted (even though it would seem to be)
