How do you do it?
Simple can of spray paint... sand em down nice paint them up and if you scratch em up on the trails just paint em over... no big loss on expensive paint

Mine were super rusty when I did it, so I took a few more steps...
1.) Paint stripper, to remove what little paint and stuff was left. Make sure to hose them off really good after.
2.) Wire brush wheel on a drill, to remove most of the rest.
3.) Rustoleum Rust reformer on the rusty areas.
4.) Prime all of it with self etching primer.
5.) Enamel based spray paint. Follow the directions, use a few coats.
6.) Enamel clear coat... helps it shine, and protects it.
Thats what I did... you might want to tape off the tire too, I skipped that, and have some colored spots now.
