Default how do i tighten the sepentine belt

my belt is squeaking badly and stops when i turn the steering all the way to one side. i put some belt dressing (conditioner as it say on the can) and that made it squeak worse.

belt dressing is only meant to be used on old style V-belts. it doesnt work on serp belts and usually does what yours did, squeal worse
