I can't use a power washer because the surface I use it on will freeze over almost immediately. Should I just crawl under it in my garage and pull the majority off and maybe scrub the rest off? If so, what should I wash it off with?

Drive down to Florida, and use a hose there.

I kid - That would probably work... but what I usually do is use the power washer, and then salt the pad/driveway underneath so it won't freeze.

Umm, yeah did you think about this before coving the thing with that grime
This is why I mud only when Its not freezing. If its that cold there has to be some fun white stuff in the mountains.

I take my muddy mess to the local U-wash place and hose it off there.
I'm sure they love cleaning out the drain after me. Job security with us around.

trick - spray your wheel wells with wd-40 before you go out muddin, and the mud will just fall right off.

not that it helps you now, and may be a pain to spray your whole undercarriage, but it works.

i spray mine here in the winter, i just don't spray the locks or door jams.
the jeep should get hot enough underneath to melt most of it.

You guys are going about it all wrong! Leave the pressure washer behind... no need for it!

Get mud off anytime of year this way!
