Alright, still a noob when it comes to my Jeep. How much do i need to lift it to run these tires? I had them on the back of my 76 Dodge 3/4ton 2 wheel drive during the winter (which i sold to buy jeep) and it was nearly unstopable, stupid ice.

Maybe i should buy the tires and wheels that i want and then go from their to figure out how much to lift?
Heres these that are shorter but, if i remember right, when i bought them for my truck they actually seemed bigger then what they were sapposed to be.

ive got a 3 inch lift on mine with the same size tires. also keep an eye out in the classified ads for parts on offroad forums and craigslist. i picked my 3 inch lift up for 190 bucks and ive beat it to death for the past 2 years.

I've heard of guys running 31's with no lift, just trim away. Remember that lifting will not make your wells bigger.

I had 35" tires on mine at first with a 3" lift, now i run a 5" with good bumpstops. You can fit those 31" tires on your stock suspension with cutting. If you don't mind cutting which i didn't you will be fine. Remember this also, when you buy tires the company says the are say 31" tall when in all reality they are more like 30".

don't need a lift for 31's, trim and keep that lower center of gravity. lifting doesn't give your axles any more ground clearance. now when you want to go bigger, then you'll lift it

I ran 30s with minor trimming at stock height. Rarely rubbed. with 31s it rubbed with my tool box in the back. so im pretty sure 2" budget boost and 31"s would fit perfect

Alright then that just answered alot of questions. Thanks
I think i am just going to go with a 2 inch just because. When i do get the 2 inch, any recomendations on which company to get it from? If they dont come with shocks its fine, Dad works with Napa.
Also my dad said something that if i get in a bind that my driveshaft might slide out if thier is too much articulation. Does anyone have this problem?
