Default Horrible gas mileage..

Took my jeep out for the first time ever since I got it running. Put like 6 gallons of gas in it and drove 8 miles and ran out. Any ideas on sensors I could swap to get a few mpg's? It's not daily driven just a trail rig.
O2 sensor?
Cps?
Map?

Any ideas will help tremendously. Thanks!

Your o2 sensor would be the first and a complete tune up wouldn't hurt.

The only way u can use up 6 gallons in 8 miles is if someone is 1) stealling ur gas, 2) u have a gas leak, or 3)u never turn it off.

I didnt have quite that bad of a problem but I'm still getting bad gas mileage. One of my problems was a vacuum leak at the injectors. The other I think was the downstream o2 sensor

x2. Guaranteed you have a leak somewhere. Under 2 mpgs doesn't happen unless one of these 3 things. With it running, look at the fuel system. From the tank up to the fuel rail. Bet one of your hoses is old, brittle and leaking

It's on the side of the tank.. What's the best thing to do? Tack it back together or get one from a jy?
It's not building any fuel pressure either and now won't start.. Think the pumps shot?
Thanks everyone.

Junkyard would be a good place for a fuel tank. I saw on your build that it sat for 3 years. The pump may very well be bad since it sat for so long

Fuel tanks, buy new. You get a jy tank it probably has rust if metal and fuel turned to varnish.

Okay. I don't think it's the pump, the kid that had it before he parked it in the field said he replaced the pump then the rail got cracked some how and he never fixed it.. I replaced the rail and the injectors, along with all new o rings. It's got fuel ran to the rail. It was running perfectly fine until it ran out of fuel, due to the leak. I figured it just had air in the lines so it just needed to prime and build up fuel again but it still won't crank over.
