i thought i remember howler-gt posting he was going to work on this idea.i'm going to try to get it done this week end. i was thinking of using a power door lock acsuator to unlock hood from a push button in cab
push button hood goes up well see how it works ill post pic if it works

 

Hmm, sounds like your working on it allot to invest such a project.

I dont think those shocks are going to lift the hood by themselves when you release it. I have the shock setup on my hood and they dont. You have to pull up on the hood just a few inches before it goes on its own.

 

i was going to my favorite plce tomorrom pick and pull thought i might try some from a ford probe their hatch is way heavy.lot of options at the yard may take a couple of times to get right but i will
