i fixed it. what it is is a plastic tube with d.t. on it. i got a filter for it and it is sealed up>>>

i've got one of those on the top of my engine.
i suggest you put the box and filter back on the way it was.
and just get a little one for the top.
your going to suck some water up that ***** one day.

the only way this thread could have started any more funny is if you would have taped a toilet paper roll to the end instead of the stock airfilter

Funny as it may be toilet paper has awesome filtering capability...The secondary transmission filter on my powerstroke diesel was a Toilet paper roll i kid you not....they work well.
