Hitch Wiring and Trailer Brake Controller

Has anyone wired in a trailer brake controller? Esp in 94-96?

Terminated wire under dash near brake pedal switch says "Brake". Wha?

Does a factory hitch harness just plug in somewhere, or do I have to cut and splice?

Did you find out about that brake wire? Did you add a controller?

Go to etrailer.com and get the specific trailer wiring "T" harness for your year XJ. The "T" harness simply plugs into the factory wires behind the plastic panel behind the spare tire.

Install a controller up front, connected to the blue "brake" wire behind the kick panel, and the T in back, to the same wire back there. ? Do I have it?

Do you have a favorite controller?
