Default Hitch question

Can i weld on a class 3 hitch reciever to the frame rails or should i bolt it?

A jeep Cherokee does not have frame rails FYI just bolt it on

That's funny! I could have sworn that there are these two rails that stretch the length of the unibody in lieu of a frame...

That's part of the unibody... A frame rail can be separated from the body... Those are unibody rails can not

Fine then, "frame-like rails". It's clearly not a full frame - hence the designation "rail"

I often refer to them as frame rails.. But to split hairs I suppose unibody rail is more accurate.. Semantics.
