So apparently the Cherokee had 2 stock tire size options, the 215/75-15 and the 225/75-15.

I'm wondering what determined what your "stock" size was? Was the 215/75-15 standard and 225/75-15 an upgrade? If so, was the upgrade part of a package (like the Country package) or was it a standalone upgrade?

My dad's 1996 Jeep Cherokee Country had 225/70-15 (not 225/75-15) Goodyear Wrangler tires on it when it was new on the dealer lot. I believe the door does say 225/75-15, however.

Lastly, from searching on the forum, most "stock" people tend to get either 225/75-15 or 235/75-15 tires when they get new tires, right?

Tire size depended on year model and equipment load. 4 X 4 and 6-cyl made differences, too.

The door label is the authority for stock factory size as that particular Jeep was equipped.
