Default High temperature, need advice.

Hi guys, I just bought my first jeep really love the look of these older ones ( I bought a 95 cherokee) besides all the rattles it seems to be running good except for the temperature. The previous owner has installed temperature sensors connected to a screen in the dash that reads between 80 and 96 degrees but the original temperature gage reads between 100 and 120 and in the red. I have read that this model runs hot but I'm a little worried. Can anyone give advice? Thanks Luke

88 to 99 Celsius would be normal operating temps. No worries man and welcome!

to verify which gauge is correct, take a infrared thermometer and point it at the temp sensor on the thermostat housing when hot.
