Greetings form the Music City! Home of the stranded 98! Replacing the fuel pump, got all the parts and find that the high pressure fuel hose (MOPAR 52100037AD) is not longer being made and all I can find is used lines. It is leaking and needs replaced. Throwing a lot of money into this project and really do not want to put used parts into it. Is there a compatible replacement available? Maybe a "work around" using after market hoses? If there is, sure can't find them! Thanks for helping an old man go broke working on his old horse!
Find an industrial hose maker. They can make virtually anything with whatever fitting you need on the end of it. Think heavy equipment repair shop, something on that order.
This photo is 14 years old now... if you look closely at the fuel line(s) just under the intake you will see the black rubber hose and tubing clamp there.
I have had this setup ever since without a single issue, I cut the factory compressed section from stainless to rubber and just added a little flare to the stainless with a brake line tool and then tube clamped the hp rubber fuel line onto it.
I guess im just saying, throw some hp fuel line and tube clamps in there and call it a day
