Hello new to the forum I have a 1991 Jeep Cherokee limited it has the 4l ho in it I'm having high idle ishues and not to sure wear to look been trying all the normal diagnosis vaccume leaks etc to no avail what is happening when you first start the Jeep in the morning cold it goes threw it's normal process fires up high idles for a minute or two as normal depends how cold it is out anyways as it goes threw it's warm up period when it will idle down to normal idle speed but as it reaches full operating temp the idle creeps up to about 1000 sometimes 1500 then after you drive it for a while say just getting off the highway for example pull in the driveway put it in park climbs to 1500 righy away sitting at a red light put it in neutral or park same thing 1500 shut it off let it sit for half hour idles perfect starts to creep up again as it warms up I have changed iac and tps i have adjusted iac properly no codes I am just wondering if its sensor related or vaccum or what I think my temp sensor is working properly if you unplug it rad fan comes on also previous owner installed a throttle body spacer I don't believe in them so probably pulling it off anyways but aside from possible gasket leak between throttle body spacer and intake or throttle body it's self could the spacer be causing my high idle ishues possibly messing with iat sensor or iac motor? Any insight or help with my delema would be greatly appreciated thanks for your help everyone
