High idle

High idle
I just got an 88cherokee and it seems to idle high once its warm but when its cold it idles perfect...was wondering if this is a comon problem or if any body knows wat it could be so i dont go spending money i dont have on parts i dont need

Common problem with renix, both of mine have done that. My old one did it no matter what, this one I finally have it at 750 where its supposed to be.
Get some carb cleaner and spray it around the manifolds, vacuum lines, TB, etc. Listen for the idle to change. If the idle changes you have a leak and need to do something to fix it.
If it still does it after that, I would clean the IAC. Still does it after that? Adjust/check tps.
