Without projectors you blind the crap out of other drivers which doesn't increase your safety. I have an upgraded harness, IPF H4 housings and IPF bulbs and my headlights are extremely bright without blinding other drivers. In some places you can even get pulled over for "malfunctioning equipment" on your vehicle, since your HIDs impair the vision of other drivers.

That beam is crazy high for a low beam. Has anyone ever flashed you for those? I know I would. If people are gonna do HID's, projectors are the only housings you should look at. Yea, their not cheap, but I'd rather say within the law and also not **** every driver off that I pass. Thats just me though..

People flash me occasionally, never gotten pulled over by the cops, and I just lifted the xj up front, and I haven't adjusted them down, yet. When adjusted correctly, they flood the road, but I don't think they blind people that much...most of our xjs are lifted. Even if we all ran projectors, they would still be in peoples mirrors, it's just the height of the jeeps front end.

Yea, I drive a lifted Cherokee as well, but with my projectors, I aimed the beam right at the trunk lid of my father's 09 Saab 9.5 and I still have amazing light output and I know for a fact that I am not blinding people. Yes, cops wont pull you over for having the lights, but should you be pulled over for speeding, or other various infractions, he/she can get you for the headlights. Not tryna be a d*ck, I just like informing people that projectors should be the only way to go if going to HID's

I understand, no offense taken...if I found a pair of quality projectors, I would jump on them. I had some cheap *** ones off eBay and they were terrible, I pretty much lost my faith in aftermarket projectors after that. Mind posting a pic of your housing and the light output? I'm curious to see them.

Wow that's a big difference. I can totally see how the top of the projector is cut off while the low beam is on...I will look into them.

Just remember, No High's with this setup. I might do a Retro-fit sometime for bi-xenons, but as of right now, this kit does not have high beams

you can do a retro fit if you wanna use your H4's but if you go my way, they are H7's. the projector is to small for the H4's. But the kit comes with everything you need. it's all plug n play
